Alexis Grady is an election and voting rights lawyer in Elias Law Group's political law practice.

 

Alexis graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, Alexis interned in the American Civil Liberties Union's Political Advocacy Department. Alexis was also a summer associate and diversity fellow with Perkins Coie LLP, and a summer associate with Elias Law Group LLP. During law school, Alexis also held leadership positions in the Black Law Student Association and the Journal of Modern Critical Race Perspectives, as well as serving as a law fellow, public interest fellow, gender justice fellow, and Georgetown Law Civil Rights Clinic student attorney.

 

Alexis is also a proud graduate of Howard University, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science. During her undergraduate career, Alexis held seven political internships and fellowships on and off the Hill, as well as serving as a staff assistant at a small campaign finance shop. During her undergraduate career, Alexis was also a passionate advocate for LGBTQ rights. Alexis has been recognized and awarded for her LGBTQ advocacy work by the Human Rights Campaign and the District of Columbia Mayor's Office of LGBT affairs.
