Danna Seligman is an associate in the Political Law practice group. She provides counsel to clients participating in a variety of political activities.
Danna’s work includes counseling party committees, advising clients engaged in redistricting reform, and guiding federal and state political committees involved in complex campaign finance and voting rights issues. In the post-2020 election cycle, Danna counseled clients during recounts and litigation at the state and federal levels.
Prior to ELG, Danna worked at Perkins Coie LLP and Allen & Overy, LLP. She drafted an amicus brief for a Title VII sex discrimination case before the U.S. Supreme Court. Her note regarding Title VII and the issues in the case was published by the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law. While at Georgetown University Law Center, Danna drafted an amicus brief for a voting rights case before the U.S. Supreme Court. Danna also completed an internship with the Office of General Counsel at the Federal Election Commission.
She is a graduate of Stanford University, where her undergraduate thesis was awarded Best Thesis by the Center for Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law.
