Noah Baron is an associate in the Litigation practice group. At Elias Law Group, he brings to bear his experience litigating civil rights and constitutional matters at all levels to protect democracy through fair elections.
Prior to coming to ELG, Noah was the 2019-2021 Jerry Shestack Justice Fellow and Counsel at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. While there, he led an investigation of the disparate impact of facial recognition technology, played a key role in lawsuits against President Trump and others for their roles in violence against protesters and in January 6, and assisted on almost a dozen amicus briefs addressing issues ranging from criminal sentencing to digital discrimination.
Noah also worked as an associate at the California Civil Rights Law Group, where he represented dozens of victims of discrimination in employment and public accommodations. He worked at both the trial and appellate level, including briefing and arguing before the Ninth Circuit, to get justice for his clients. Some of his cases prompted investigations by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
Noah began his legal career as an Associate Attorney General with the District of Columbia Office of the Solicitor General. Prior to law school, he worked as a Legislative Assistant at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.
He is a graduate of Columbia University and of Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as the editor-in-chief of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.
He lives in Washington, D.C., with his partner and dog.
