Raisa Cramer is an associate in Elias Law Group's Litigation practice. She works with her fellow attorneys on cases dealing with issues ranging from redistricting, ballot access, speech and viewpoint discrimination, and access to voting in federal and state court.
Having previously worked in news for NBC and then MSNBC, Ms. Cramer developed extensive communications and research skills that now serve her well as a litigator. While a student, she interned with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Office of California Attorney General Kamala Harris, and several Democratic campaigns for senate and congressional office.
She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Brown University. While a student, she participated in the Harvard Law Review, Harvard Defenders, the American Constitution Society, and the Black Law Students Association. She was a summer associate at Perkins Coie in the Political Law Group in 2019 and 2020. She has also written about election law for the Harvard Law Review and the Harvard Law Review Blog.
