Shanna Reulbach is counsel in Elias Law Group's Political Law practice. Shanna focuses her practice on federal campaign finance law, having previously worked at the Federal Election Commission. She helps clients navigate complex campaign finance issues, writes and responds to FEC complaints, represents clients in federal court litigation against the FEC, and drafts FEC advisory opinion requests. She also has extensive experience in voting rights, communications compliance, ethics, and election administration, including post-election disputes. Shanna is a trusted advisor to campaigns, PACS, officeholders, and party committees. 

Prior to ELG, Shanna was an attorney at Perkins Coie LLP and worked in the Enforcement Division of the FEC. At the FEC, she advised the Commissioners, handled complaints, conducted investigations, and negotiated settlements. Shanna began her career clerking at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. 

While attending William & Mary Law School, Shanna interned at the Brennan Center for Justice and the Virginia State Board of Elections. Shanna also volunteered as a research assistant to the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Election Law and the Presidential Commission on Election Administration. She works out of ELG’s Washington, D.C. office.
