Zachary “Zach” Morrison is an associate in the Political Law practice group. He advises clients on campaign finance, voter participation laws, and lobbying at the federal, state, and local levels.
Zach counsels a range of clients, particularly U.S. Senate candidates, political party committees, political action committees (PACs), and nonprofit organizations. A significant portion of his practice focuses on compliance with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and state and local campaign finance rules. He has additional experience counseling clients on recall and ballot initiative campaigns. In 2020, Zach was a member of the Georgia recount team for Biden's presidential campaign.
He has a background in campaigns and political fieldwork. He was a campaign manager for a Sarasota, Florida city commissioner campaign, a field organizer for a U.S. Senate campaign in Alaska, and an organizing fellow for both of President Obama's presidential campaigns.
Zach is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Columbia Law School. He is based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
