Joel is an experienced paralegal with a focus on civil rights litigation and is currently pursuing a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. He most recently served in the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Appellate Section, where he supported high-level civil rights litigation. Prior to that, Joel gained experience through internships with the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice and the Chautauqua Institution in D.C.
