Josh Abbuhl is a counsel in Elias Law Group’s litigation practice. He and his fellow litigators represent clients in a variety of voting rights, election, and constitutional law matters in courts around the country.
Before joining Elias Law Group, Josh served for six years as a trial attorney in the Federal Programs Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice. While there, Josh represented the Executive Branch in a wide range of constitutional and administrative law cases raising significant legal issues of nationwide importance. Prior to his work at the Department of Justice, Josh was a litigation associate at Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr LLP.
Josh received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and received the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Prize. He clerked for the Honorable Dennis Jacobs of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
