Liza Conrad is the Executive Director of Elias Law Group’s Election Protection Intelligence Collaborative (EPIC). Under her leadership, EPIC relentlessly tracks election administration at the hyper-local level, identifying high-impact opportunities for clients to advocate for improvements and solve problems that could impact voters’ ability to cast their ballot and have it counted. Liza and the EPIC team are helping transform how Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations respond to unprecedented anti-voter and anti-democratic efforts.
Liza brings tremendous expertise in voter protection, election administration, and building effective organizations to her role as the Executive Director of EPIC. Before joining ELG, Liza served as Deputy Executive Director and founding Director of Voter Protection for Fair Fight Action and Fair Fight PAC. In these roles, she led efforts to push back against large-scale, coordinated voter suppression, including Fair Fight 2020, an initiative that successfully built early voter protection infrastructure in 18 critical states ahead of the 2020 elections. During the 2021 Senate Runoff elections, Liza served as a Senior Advisor to the DSCC and helped flip the Senate by electing Senators Warnock and Ossoff. Liza led the Democratic Party of Georgia’s voter protection efforts during Senator Warnock’s 2022 runoff victory. Before joining Fair Fight Action, Liza served as Deputy Data Director on Stacey Abrams’ historic campaign for Governor of Georgia in 2018. Liza helped start the national nonprofit Girls Who Code and worked as an organizer on President Obama’s 2012 re-election.
She graduated from Wesleyan University and lives in Washington, DC with her rescue dog, Otis.
